My name is Dan and my road name is Bulldog, feel free to call me by either.  I live in St. Catharines, Ontario Canada near Niagara Falls.

I have been living in this area for about two years now, and have not had enough time to explore the region.  That is about to change. 

I ride a vintage V-Twin 1999 Honda Shadow 1100 ACE (American Classic Edition).  It suffered some charging problems last season, which I intend on solving tomorrow with my son’s help.  I’ll be posting that experience soon.  The purpose of this blog is to document my exploration of this popular tourist site from the viewpoint of a local rider.  I’ve named this blog Lone Wolf Weekend, as I’m an independant with no club affiliation.  Make no mistake the weekend part of the name does not mean I’m a “Weekend Warrior” or a “Waxer”, the weekends are my time to ride for myself and enjoy the twisties.  I ride anytime I can whenever I can.  

Meet my girl Rhonda, not just word play on the brand Honda, Rhonda was the name of the first girl I kissed at a school dance.  Like her namesake she’s a little rough around the edges, but she sure is a lot of fun, and a great maker of memories.
